Adherium is an international Respiratory eHealth company focused on patient adherence, remote monitoring, and data management solutions for patients, physicians, and payers. As the Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS), your role is crucial in serving as the product expert with clinical and technical knowledge for Adherium customers. You will serve as a bridge between the technical aspects of the product and the end users, ensuring smooth implementation, increased adoption, and overall customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in resolving technical issues, addressing user inquiries, and ensuring a positive user experience for patients and healthcare professionals alike.

This position offers the opportunity for a healthcare professional with a passion for digital health and improving quality of care to demonstrate their clinical know-how and customer service skills to support Adherium’s vision of being the global leader in managing respiratory disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and technical expertise to customers through training presentations and product demonstrations;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing on-site support and/or training to customers as appropriate prior to and/or after purchase;
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and partners including physicians, nurse management, other associated personnel;
  • Create and update training materials, user guides, and FAQs to assist users in understanding the product's functionalities, troubleshooting common issues, and optimizing their experience;
  • Communicate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and educational resources are available to users;
  • Act as a user advocate, collecting and analyzing user feedback to identify pain points, areas for improvement, and new feature requests;
  • Support the clinical evaluation of new product development, clinical studies, audits and post-market, value-based healthcare assessments;
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to relay user feedback and contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring user needs are considered in future iterations.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited Respiratory Care Program OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, computer science, or equivalent practical experience;
  • Passion for customer service and improving patient care;
  • Strong clinical background (preferred in respiratory, but not required) and understanding of healthcare workflows and terminologies;
  • Familiarity with digital health products, mobile applications, and their integration into healthcare settings;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical users;
  • Proven experience in providing technical or clinical support to end users, preferably in the healthcare or digital health industry;
  • Works autonomously with limited supervision and guidance, to organize, prioritize, delegate and complete multiple tasks on an on-going basis;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively;
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with users, ensuring a positive and supportive experience;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment;
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills;
  • Travel: Domestic – 25-50%

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
