What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Product Launch position at Adidas?
- Oversee detailed operational processes, system integrations, and configurations to ensure quality product launches
- Act as the central interface to coordinate, track, and communicate readiness, risk, and results for product launches and work to standardize and streamline these processes
- Execute system configurations and provide testing and or day of support for product launches as needed
- Build credibility through high quality execution of product launch accuracy across all planned digital touch points (adidas.com, adidas flagship app, adidas Confirmed app, yeezysupply.com, Instagram, etc.) even if these means detailed system auditing and/or double checking of work
- Lead projects and work with Global teams on system enhancements needed to support product launches
- Identify and solve issues with product presentation on the site for product launches or within the product systems in a fast and solution-oriented manner
- Proactively monitor launch calendars to ensure newly assorted products are ranged, integration errors removed, and any special configurations setup
- Manage day to day activities, training, oversight, and development of a small team of individuals
- Leverage functional expertise and operational insights to support and influence senior

- Operational mindset – if you don’t have a passion for system integrations, detailed data validations & system configurations, this role is not for you
- Attention to detail – all work performed will be visible to consumers
- Demonstrate clear communication skills and agile working to remain connected globally
- Proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables and vlookup functionality
- Strong system troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a digital mindset and possess the ability to use different digital tools and resources
- Know how to set priorities in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
- Willingness to support or be on call for planned product launches over weekends, non-standard business hours, and holidays as needed to support critical product launches
- Experience managing and developing a team preferred
- Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system preferred
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager or similar eCommerce platform
- Fluent English
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- 5 years experience in Digital
- BA / BS in IT related field, Business, Merchandising or related field
