JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibility:
- IT Analyst will support resources for hardware, communications, networking, software and shop-floor systems run at the manufacturing facility.
- Analyzes system issues and provides solutions or escalates to next level support teams.
- Consult with plant management on continuous improvement ideas nd new requirements.
- Project Management or key team member of projects to deliver new/changed services.
- Partner with Product Group IT Manager and Group/Corporate IT to implement new initiatives and follow defined standards.
- Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including but not limited to the following: system administration, security, process adherence, documentation and equipment installation and system backups.
- Provides key PlantIT contact for internal and external Adient customers.
- Communicates plant IT business requirements and activities. Ensures company IT activities are communicated in a timely fashion to the plant management.
- Responsible for IT tasks related to launches nd communicating updates at readiness reviews.
- Other duties deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager or Plant Manager. Actively supports plant safety efforts through departmental participation in safety meetings and safety walks.
- Experience supporting Local Area Networks (LAN's) and associated equipment. Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Process driven, responsive, relentless and transparent.
- Experience with launches a plus.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors' Degree in IT Or Associates/Technical Degree in IT related field, with 2 years IT experience
- Communication, analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Support multiple work streams.
- Desire to have broad responsibilities and work in fast paced environment.
- Windows administrative knowledge (Servers and PCs)
- Experience with Networking Infrastructure and Architecture
Additional Desired Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally automotive industry is a plus.
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.
- Basic database knowledge and report writing skills.
- Technical Certifications.
- Continuous Improvement training
