Description
This Role will be responsible for all aspects relating to the storage and coordination of test samples, fixtures, and lab equipment.
The individual will work within the Test Lab as well as the Validation team to organize and maintain the storage area, keep the labs, and test storage area in order and coordinate all sample movement between incoming shipments, the labs, the teardown area, and the storage area.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Receive incoming samples, scan, and distribute them to the correct lab or storage location.
- Organize fixtures onsite and provide them to labs when requested.
- Maintain excess lab equipment in an orderly fashion in the storage area.
- Routinely ship unused equipment and fixtures to long term storage.
- Remove samples and fixtures from lab locations when testing is complete and hold for teardown or send to storage.
- Move parts as required by the request of the lab or validation department.
- Remove samples from fixtures as needed.
- Other duties as they arise.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 Years minimum experience in a shipping and receiving or logistic role (Operation of forklift required).
- Communication skills are essential as the position involves working with numerous departments and functions.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to follow developed processes and provide input to help improve.
