Job Description:
- Experience with ensuring Drivers have keys and proper manifest paperwork, ensuring drivers have what they need for their assignments.
- Will train for a week or two before the worker takes over on their own.
- 3-5 Years of Experience, this is an Operations position responsible for performing clerical duties within the Transportation department including maintaining all regulatory compliance as required by the Department of Transportation.
- Responsibilities include: Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.; Answer phones, route calls and take messages.
- Research short on truck that drivers call in; Respond to delivery associate issue and provide support for resolution.
- Create Driver Qualification files as needed and maintain all required documents in Supervision as required under Department of Transportation guidelines, i.e. driver’s license status, Medical Examination Cards, Certificate of Violations, monitor MVR status, etc.
- Monitor and review all driver logs and violations through the onboard computer system, Telogis.
- Run daily reports for transportation supervisors, i.e. Observations, Vehicle Tracking, etc.; Daily monitoring of Drive Cam Events and processing them for coaching and signatures.
- Backup for New Driver DOT Training; Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management.
- Requirements include a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent, ability to read, write, and understand English, basic arithmetic skills, good physical stamina and conditioning, and the ability to learn to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

- Process inbound freight paperwork weekly.
- Primary contact for any inbound freight issues.
· Run daily reports for operations supervisors (i.e. observations, vehicle tracking, etc.)
· Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management.
- The dispatcher is responsible for fielding incoming calls from drivers and customer service; gathering and recording delivery time information and delivery status on selected accounts.
- Assists with other functions required of the Transportation Department.
- Responsibilities and records delivery time information from route drivers.
- Communicates with management and customer service on route driver locations as requested, deliveries that will not be made within delivery windows, and truck breakdowns.
- Reviews delivery logs daily for accuracy making corrections as needed.
- Works with purchasing department on all product pick-ups, and assigning drivers to complete pick-ups and return product and paperwork to receiving.
- Reassigns drivers to delivery routes when another driver calls out.
- Makes and communicates minor delivery route adjustments as needed.
- Addresses customer issues and directs calls to customer service as needed.
- Makes adjustments that will cause substantial disruption in a route or meeting delivery time windows.
