Producer

About the role:  

The Producer is responsible for leading and managing all productions for the client with oversight from the global Adjust Your Set production team. The focus for this role will be to become the expert on all production-related tasks within the client. Production projects include photo/video shoots, activations, merch development, and any jobs involving external vendors. 

What you will be doing: 

• Produce video and photo shoots and activations from brief to delivery for branded social campaigns
• Manage pre-production- briefing, bidding, budgeting, scheduling
• Lead all logistics and production on-site
• Manage post-production edits, retouching/sound & delivery
• Collaborate with external partner agencies and clients in various levels  
• Manage production partners, vendors, editors and talent as needed
• Maintain project documentation to ensure all progress, changes and details are accounted for
• Manage all back-end work such as cost tracking, processing of invoices and POs
• Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget
• Work closely with Accounts to collaborate on project delivery  
• Travel as needed

What you need to be great in this role:   

• Thorough and detail-oriented, able to proactively identify obstacles and risks to a production
• Creative thinker with experience ideating and proposing unique ideas for campaigns
• Excellent planning, decision making, delegation and organizational skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to push back when necessary

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a producer in a production company, at an agency or in-house creative services team
• Experience with product shoots, with a focus on photography  
• Track record of executed projects across multiple platforms
• Experience executing and renewing talent usage contracts
• Experience getting estimates from vendors and negotiating costs
• Experience directing editors and retouchers
• Knowledge of union and non-union rules for photo & video projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Technical competence and understanding of creative process / working within a creative environment
• Confident communication skills both internally and externally with client and external partners 
• At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $110,000 to $120,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package. 
• This role will be performed in a hybrid capacity with the expectation of being local to the New York City area.
