PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Jr. Software Developer will perform hands-on technical implementations of software applications, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.org and ADL.org digital platforms. The Jr Software Developer will participate in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyze business requirements, design, implement, deploy and document projects.
Responsibilities
Primary
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document, and deliver large-scale, highly distributed, real-time and management systems that are core to effectively managing the cash management business.
- Manage process for creating web forms, assist in the process of connecting ADL.org web forms to Salesforce and maintain/troubleshoot going forward.
- Assist in managing vendor relations.
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements and translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
- Create comprehensive, user-friendly software documentation.
- Develop software solutions using MS tools and 3rd party APIs.
- Perform unit testing and defect fixes.
- Liaise with internal clients and users to understand their business needs in developing solutions.
Secondary
- Develop Salesforce API framework.
- Document internal processes.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Must be proficient with the following programs: ASP.Net C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL/general database knowledge and web development.
- Use Object-oriented programming (Java, C , C#, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Technical eye for details.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for exploring and learning new technologies. Ability to work proactively, both independently and in small groups.
Work Experience:
- Experience with software development life cycle having worked on software development and teams delivering to business stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
Work Environment:
- ADL COVID-19 Protocol (updated periodically): ADL is adhering to public health guidance regarding COVID-19. ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.
Compensation:
- This position has a salary range of $58,000 to $83,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
