Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a Guided Study Tutor for the 2024-2025 school year.
Description:
Support will be provided by the Guided Study Tutor in the following areas:
Facilitate development of executive functioning skills
Provide instructional support to students in either Social Studies, CommArts and/or Science
Work collaboratively with teaching teams and ILC/ELC tutoring team in supporting and documenting student progress.
Qualifications:
Qualifications are as follows but not limited to:
ISBE licensure required. Must have a Para Professional License (PARA), Substitute License (SUB) or a Professional Educator License (PEL).
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Studies, CommArts or Science endorsement(s) preferred.
Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
Teaching experience with high school students as well as providing support as part of Response to Intervention programs preferred.
