Our National Finance & Administration Services department oversees the management of the critical resources and infrastructure that our people need to get the job done at every level. This service department is designed to make sure our retail divisions and executive leadership receive the support they need to run a successful operation. Within Finance our teams include: Accounting, Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting and Treasury and Finance.

In this role the Financial Real Estate Systems Analyst III will be responsible for working with large sets of data, presentations to management, participating in large scale projects, and providing analytical support to various teams throughout the organization. In this role, you will be working with in house applications, Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel on a daily basis while understanding the needs and requirements of other teams in regard to obtaining datasets. The ideal candidate will have experience understanding and interpreting business requirements and effectively implement solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ever changing requirements while having high attention to detail and maintaining tight deadlines ensuring accuracy. The objective of this role is to be able to manage, maintain, and validate data collected to ensure appropriate reporting and forecasting within stated deadlines.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers and facilitates financial real estate system development timelines and project content holding regular collaboration sessions with business stakeholders to provide updates as well as document any feedback from the business.  
• Influences others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and procedures. 
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Researches, analyzes, and designs reporting tools to meet the needs of the business that will integrate with existing and future systems.
• Leads development and support of financial real estate systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions.
• Analyzes data specifications to ensure they are logical, accurate, and meet business objectives.
• Consolidates and analyzes financial data, considering the company's business direction.
• Leads and participates in special project initiatives related to data quality improvements.
• Analyzes existing dashboards and reports to identify opportunities for process improvements and assists in the implementation.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
 
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in data analytics or developments using R, Python, SQL, or Alteryx required. 
• Tableau experience highly preferred.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. 
 
Physical Requirements:
 
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs. 
 
Travel:

• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
