Project Manager, Construction

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM) is a woman-owned project and program management consultancy headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan with offices in Detroit, Michigan; Westerville, Ohio; and Charlotte, North Carolina.  

We are currently seeking Project Managers

Project Managers should be experienced in:

• Establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.  Representing company in project meetings, assist in negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.

• Monitoring/controlling construction through administrative direction to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

There is an ONSITE requirement with required travel to project locations around Michigan.

Additional opportunities exist in Columbus, Ohio; Beaumont, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and New York.  ACM seeks entry-level (new graduates) to senior-level individuals.

ACM provides project controls services including critical path method (CPM) scheduling, project oversight, coordination, and owner’s representation; delay claim analysis and dispute resolution; and training to clients within the utility, petrochemical, manufacturing, automotive, commercial, municipal and public works, and pharmaceutical industries.  ACM is a Project Management Institute (PMI^®) Authorized Training Partner, and is the first Approved Education Provider as certified by AACE International.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience;
• Willing to travel to project locations as needed;
• Experienced in Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management software.

Additional Responsibilities and Expectations Include

• Experience in the heavy construction, utility, manufacturing, and/or oil & gas industries;
• Critical Path Method experience (specifically in scheduling);
• Cost Engineering Experience;
• Budgeting, Forecasting, and/or Risk Management experience.
