Saw Operator

Job Title: Saw Operator

Primary Responsibility

The saw operator will be responsible for running the saw to produce quality products. The successful candidate will be able to accurately and safely cut metal to complete production orders.

Prior experience with Shelling Saws, B&O Saws, Bandsaws, or Shears Helpful.

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to Production Floor Manager and the production schedule
• Produce quality products and meet production goals
• Maintain production equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues

Skill and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior metal cutting experience preferred, but will train
• Ability to work well within a team
• Must be proactive with a high level of responsiveness to customer requests
• Have a safe work attitude
• Forklift experience is helpful, but will we train

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, pull/push up to 50lbs
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
• Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
