The Opportunity
- Assessing and purchasing various trendy, fashionable, and quality clothing.
- Maintaining knowledge of current fashion trends, materials, and price points.
- Working closely with the production team to develop and manufacture products.
- Collecting performance measurement data, tracking against product growth goals, and presenting results and recommendations based on product performance.
- Conducting market research to stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior in key markets.
- Analyzing competitor products, pricing, materials, and possible sales volume.
- Communicating with customers and conducting product studies.
Experience
- Love for fashion and knowledge of current trends
- Open availability, including evenings and weekends, to communicate with overseas production teams.
- Knowledge about fabrics, materials, and manufacturing methods of clothing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership over your projects while working collaboratively in a team environment to drive best practices while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment, evolving responsibilities, and wearing multiple hats.
- Ability to move fast and learn quickly.
- BA/BS
- Bilingual, fluent in Chinese Mandarin, speaking, reading, and writing, familiar with fashion and clothing terminologies is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
