Machine Operator

Adorama Shipping is looking for Machine Operator to join our team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for someone to help with setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure proper operation.

• Maintaining and operating machine for set-up, loading and packaging of products
• Start machines and turn handwheels or valves to engage feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms.
• Responsible for ensuring efficient processing of all products in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and product specifications
• Ensuring efficient operation of machines and that the products are being processed in conformance to quality standards and meet acceptable specifications as set for the by the company
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Performing routine inspections of machines

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

• BasicKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Familiarity with assisting mechanics with regular preventive maintenance on machines or equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to follow directions
• Basic communication in English
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in all weather conditions including non-airconditioned warehouse
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb using ladders
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more per shift
• Able to meet all productivity standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
