Job Description:
AdPro is looking for an experienced and well-organized Assistant Art Director with a diverse set of skills to add to our growing creative department. You will be joining an established graphics team in the design and production of various types of content including print and digital ads, web, outdoor and collateral. This position is best-suited to graphic designers with experience art directing and designing in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the entire creative department and account services team to create content that effectively achieves communication and marketing objectives while maintaining proper visual representation of our client’s brands.
Core Responsibilities:
- Directly support the Art Director by assisting with art direction for 2 full-time graphic designers and freelancers
- Work collaboratively and independently, with the ability to self-manage deadlines for yourself as well as the other designers in the art department
- Produce various print and digital projects, including direct mail, brochures, posters, email blasts, web banners, business cards, digital ads, outdoor, website landing pages and social media graphics/content
- Communicate and multi-task effectively with the art director and other members of the creative department and the account services team while meeting daily deadlines on assigned projects
- Assist with creative strategy, brand identity and graphic implementation
- Request quotes, order, and track delivery of print orders with many different printers at the same time
- Stay atop graphic design best practices, trends and advances
- At times, work directly with AdPro clients
Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in digital/print design as well as art directing other artists
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential)
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Portfolio that showcases digital, web and print experience

- Advanced knowledge in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are essential)
- Strong ability to art direct other designers effectively, while also designing many projects at the same time
- A well-rounded understanding of design, typography and print-production techniques
- Ability to organize time, multitask, meet deadlines, manage workflow and prioritize effectively for yourself and other artists in the creative department
- Ability to design and art direct high-level creative in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience using Teams and Dropbox a plus
- An impeccable eye for clean design and detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to proofread
- Ability to effectively collaborate on creative ideas with other creative department team members
- Ability to be client-facing for new business presentations and ongoing client work

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
