Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-7pm. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental assisting, medical documentation, and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment using aseptic technique
- Perform routine laboratory tasks and operate medical imaging equipment

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in Practice Works or similar dental software
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Strong anatomy knowledge to assist with dental procedures
- Experience in taking accurate patient vital signs
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental setting

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, utilizing your skills to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 27 per week
