Job Summary:
In support of the company mission the Course Developer is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging eLearning courses using eLearning authoring tools.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to apply instructional design theory and represent content in a manner that best facilitates target audience’s learning.
- Align learning objectives with learning content and assessments.
- Select and revise appropriate audio-visual media for use in eLearning. Design and incorporate infographics that enhance meaning.
- Act as the Learning Management System (LMS) power user and understand the functionality and capabilities of how courses play.
- Design, build, and implement content enhancements for courses.
- Assist in the creation of custom portals and interactive materials for custom content projects.
- Manage content outputs through brand, server, and LMS migrations.
- Create and integrate engaging, appropriate activities into eLearning.
- Develop modules/courses using rapid authoring tools,
- Ensure that eLearning modules/courses are accessible.
- Perform quality analysis self-checks and peer reviews.
- Manage time to accomplish tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Design, Learning Development, Adult Learning, etc. from a four-year college or university or two-years’ experience and/or training or equivalent combination or education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Attention to detail
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written oral instructions
- Experience with design software and/or eLearning rapid authoring tools
- Office productivity software knowledge
- SCORM/AICC/xAPI experience a plus but not required
