The Opportunity Adobe’s Lightroom organization is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our web engineering team. Be part of a fun, fast-paced team working on lightroom.adobe.com! Our product serves a diverse and global customer base of passionate photographers. We’re excited about the latest web technologies and how to apply them to solve real user problems and deliver fantastic user experiences. What You’ll Do Collaborate with other teams to build functionality across the photography ecosystem. Write awesome JavaScript/CSS code. Develop features focused on the needs of our customer. Explore new technology, make prototypes, and test ideas. Help keep our service running smoothly and efficiently, including being in an on-call rotation. Participate in all aspects of software development including design, coding, code review, unit testing, automating test cases, and bug fixing. What You Need to Succeed Flexibility to work with a wide array of technologies. Very strong skills in JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3. Familiarity with modern web development technology (e.g. Webpack, MobX, LitElement, WebComponents, WebGPU). Experience using web services and public cloud environments (e.g. AWS). Significant experience building and deploying web applications BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,400 -- $275,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
