Position Summary
Oversee and manage multiple Supply Chain-related programs/projects simultaneously to drive overarching Supply Chain goals and strategies and obtain benefits not available from traditional, individual project management
Oversee successful delivery of the program/project’s output; manage several projects/programs at the strategic level and/or manage specific components of a project (projects are singular, task-oriented, with a clear direction and outcome; programs can incorporate several projects, each aligning to their own goals, yet combined align to a higher goal)
Manage large initiatives in terms of scope, complexity, and value
Successfully manage competing priorities/urgent timelines with an ability to respond to new information dynamically
Work directly alongside and on behalf of all Ahold Delhaize USA banners (Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford, and Peapod Digital Labs) to collaboratively develop and execute optimal Supply Chain processes and strategic initiatives to support ADUSA operating companies' unique business strategies
Work collaboratively with all Supply Chain and Business functions, including Demand, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, Procurement, IT, HR, Finance, Training, and Continuous Improvement; all relevant departments and teams within those areas, as well as other internal and external sources to design and implement optimal tactics and strategies
Support development of presentations for audiences across all levels, from store associates to executive leadership
Serve as part of cross-functional working teams and steering committees, develop, and deploy program governance structures including program/project charters, advocate for projects and work efforts, and act as a surge resource providing extra assistance as needed
Achieve organizational alignment to the strategic direction, including project and program goals and objectives, by facilitating cross-functional connectivity and high-level strategic alignment
Assist with change management, governance, and developing goals/milestones for critical priorities/projects, establishing action plans, mitigating risk and resolving issues cross-functionally within all areas of Supply Chain
Facilitate Supply Chain strategy conversations and collaboration at all levels throughout the organization to assist deploying continuous improvement opportunities and innovation efforts including supporting RACI documentation
Drive maintenance and visibility of overarching Supply Chain goals, KPIs, and business drivers
Establish and facilitate meeting cadences with relevant stakeholders
Capture meeting minutes and distribute to stakeholders
Create or support qualitative/status reporting and progress tracking
Create or support resourcing/structure as well as roles and responsibilities design
Assist with communications support
Assist or lead strategic thought partnership/solution whiteboarding
Assist with realigning scope; work collaboratively to realign daily project/team activities to support vision of the company
Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage constraints, time, and scope, with utmost proficiency
Strong experience with Risk Management, Change & Communications Management, and Project/Program Management
Proficient in MS Office- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
Microsoft Project experience preferred
Communication, leadership without authority, organization, problem solving, critical thinking, dynamic, adaptable, and flexible
Experience in Agile & Hybrid Program management preferred – leading organizations in evolving Portfolio management from traditional “project” based portfolios to “product” based portfolios
Diverse experience that demonstrates an interest in continuous learning, commitment to process, and overall excellence in service and delivery of results
3-5 years of relevant work experience (PMO or similar consulting experience)
