ADUSA Procurement, a partner company to Retail Business Services, provides supply chain services that enable end-to-end optimization and visibility, balancing service and cost with collaboration and supporting the delivery of product from a supplier to the warehouse. Like Retail Business Services, ADUSA Procurement provides services to five omnichannel grocery brands, including Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
Position Summary:
The supply chain business analyst will work collaboratively with the supply chain product managers, supply chain engineers, and the operational teams to develop reporting, dashboarding, and analytical solutions to ad-hoc supply chain problems.
This role can tell stories with data and simplify and present the relevant information to help our supply chain operations teams make informed, data-driven solutions.
This includes but is not limited to the development of a robust vendor scorecard and operational playbook to drive incremental value in vendor negotiations.
Develop business models and assumptions for financial models and analysis to unlock value. Provide recommendations based on data and provide options to inform leadership decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads relationships with multiple stakeholders to define metrics and create operational performance reporting and dashboarding for supply chain teams.
Supports supply chain through all internal collaborative channels as the data expert for the supply chain analytics reporting environment and help users create dashboards and reporting for their business needs
Leads the development and execution of training, support, and troubleshooting for analytics environment
Provides analytical support, dashboard maintenance and reports to identify business opportunities to unlock the values
Supports collaboration with strategy group and key cross-functional leadership to support decisions and evaluate potential strategic opportunities, with a focus on providing recommendations on improvement for strategic tests and initiatives underway.
Supports the partnership with finance and IT and relevant leaders to develop meaningful assumptions for financial models (including any pro forma investment models) regarding impacts of major strategic initiative
Develop presentations utilized to communicate meaningful results, trends, and insights regarding the performance of key strategic initiatives.
Leads strategic projects, creating structure around ambiguous strategic questions, analyzing complex business problems, and developing data driven insights to support a solution
Skills:
Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office; Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; Expertise in Microsoft Azure, PowerBI, and SQL
Significant experience with analytics, statistics and structured problem solving
Knowledge of approaches to work with big data, including querying databases and manipulating large sets of data to generate robust insights
Ability to develop a structured approach to complex questions and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analyses
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, engineering, math, statistics, or other quantitatively oriented major; Master's Degree in similar quantitative field preferred
Experience:
3-6 years
