Advance Advisors, LLC is in need of a Roman Catholic Priest to provide long-term services on a federal contract for the Marine corps on a full-time basis.
Mission: To provide comprehensive religious support services for eligible personnel at MAGTFTC/MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, CA.
Responsibilities:
Religious Program Development: Develop and implement religious programs for Roman Catholic personnel and their families.
Mass Celebration: Celebrate two weekend Masses, daily Mass Monday-Friday, and additional Masses for major liturgical events.
Sacrament Administration: Perform all Roman Catholic sacraments as required.
Liturgical Training: Certify the training of liturgical assistants (Ushers, Altar Servers, Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion).
Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral counseling and visits to Roman Catholic active duty, reserve, or retired military personnel, including administering sacraments to hospitalized Catholics.
Administrative Duties: Participate in monthly Catholic Chapel Advisory Council meetings and submit quarterly reports to the AMS and Command Chaplain.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement a plan to continue services during crises.
Requirements:
Ordained Roman Catholic Priest in good standing with the AMS and own diocese/religious community.
Provide proof of ordination.
Obtain AMS ecclesiastical endorsement (DD Form 2088).
Submit three letters of recommendation attesting to personal character and moral integrity.
Pass a Criminal History Background Check per DoD standards.
Arrange and compensate for a substitute priest if unavailable, ensuring the substitute meets all contract specifications.
Note: This role is dedicated to fulfilling the religious needs of Roman Catholics and does not encompass broader military chaplain duties.
