What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Advance Nursing Services?
Advance Nursing Services has full-time and part-time opportunities for Security Guards. We provide staffing services to a variety of interim housing facilities requiring Security Guards. There are multiple positions available throughout Southern California Northridge, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Torrance
The right candidates will provide a safe and secure environment for patients. This includes first-hand observation and the use of cameras. Other responsibilities include:
- Searching clients and guests upon entry into the site
- Defusing potential confrontations and redirecting individuals to de-escalate situations
- When required to contact law enforcement, provide access and information as needed
- Conduct rounds: checking on clients, ensuring the facility is secure, and completing appropriate reports
- Assisting with other tasks including helping serving meals, keeping common areas clean, and completing other assigned duties.
Guard Card is required
Along with:
- CPR
- Food Handler Certification
- TB Test
- Employment Physical
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Ability to Relocate:
- Long Beach, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
