Advance Products and Systems, LLC is currently seeking a Light Assembler in Scott, LA. The candidate will be responsible for assembling products to specifications. The position will also require constant quality control while observing all safety regulations within a production environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities of the Light Assembler include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble and/ or prepare product for shipping.
  • Perform manual tasks such as hand assemble product, inserting, hand folding, taping, etc., efficiently and accurately according to order and customer specifications.
  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting for quality while performing the various tasks assigned.
  • Perform all necessary written internal and external documentation with complete and accurate information as required by internal procedures and/or customer specifications.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately; perform all assigned work efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Follow housekeeping standards by keeping work area neat and clean, taking care of any equipment utilized and following specified work procedures.
  • Record daily production as required on company.
  • Follow and comply with all safety, work rules and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Assembly line: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
