Financial Controller

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements. You will play a crucial role in financial management and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process
- Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting principles and regulations

Skills:
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial management principles
- Proficient in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory reporting requirements
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and basic accounting concepts
- Experience with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance is preferred
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

Pay: $98,270.16 - $109,075.54 per year
