Social Media Specialist

Brief Description

As the digital marketing lead for Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, this position is responsible for driving our local marketing efforts, executing campaigns that resonate with our community, maintaining our practice’s digital presence, and managing the local marketing budget. A key link between Ascend’s centralized marketing strategy and local execution, this role will ensure our messaging is engaging, relevant, and aligned with our overarching brand values.

Responsibilities

● Develop overall digital marketing strategy and manage the marketing budget for the practice.

● Create, curate, and post engaging content tailored to our local audience for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

● Engage with our online community by actively managing and responding to messages and comments across all digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google) while effectively and consistently representing ACS brand and values.

● Manage and update the practice’s website content to ensure current, accurate, patient-friendly, and compliant information is always available (e.g. before/after galleries, blogs, promotions).

● Design and implement promotional campaigns and community events to increase awareness, patient acquisition, engagement, and retention, leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels.

● Collaborate with Ascend’s central marketing team to ensure brand consistency and compliance across all content and campaigns.

● Regularly report on campaigns and social media performance, providing actionable insights to refine and enhance tactics.

Skills / Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

● Proven experience with digital content creation, website management, and social media marketing

● Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

● Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

● Creative thinker, constantly seeking new and innovative ways to engage audiences.

● Collaborative and team-oriented

● Knowledge of healthcare, plastic surgery, or aesthetics market is a plus

● Previous experience working in an environment requiring patient privacy and discretion is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
