What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Technician II position at Advanced Matrix, Inc.?
Work Responsibilities:
- Conduct storm water and wastewater sampling at client locations
- Provide assistance to client location personnel in the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health and safety programs
- Support SDS management systems for clients
- Conduct inspections and audits, under the supervision of a project manager, of client facilities to identify safety, health or environmental issues and recommending appropriate corrective or preventive actions.
- Support project managers in providing employee training on safety and environmental topics.
- Travel to plant locations to conduct assessments, or other EHS duties; 30-50% travel possible.
- Develop plans, programs, and procedures to ensure effective EHS program implementation
- Perform fieldwork, if necessary
- Assist project managers in the preparation and submittal of required governmental reports, forms, documentation in the required time frame
Computer Skills:
- High level ability and knowledge in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, and power point)
Attention to Detail:
- Ability to pay close attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness in completing work
- Ability to keep privileged information confidential
Cooperation:
- Job requires a pleasant disposition, a good-natured personality, and a fair attitude
