Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care is seeking a reliable Experienced Orthopedic Medical Assistant to perform various clinical and office duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently in both our Tinley Park office and our Oak Lawn office. Our medical assistant will work directly with healthcare practice staff to interview patients and document basic medical history, organize and schedule appointments, update medical records, arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services, assist during medical examinations, produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters,faxes and forms, prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments and keep the flow of the clinic.

Must have knowledge of Orthopedic terminology and thorough understanding of wound care,suture/stitches/staple removal, splints, casts and medical first aid. Must have computer knowledge and knowledge of EMR a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
