(APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM® and Printalloy® position APP as the first choice for some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the country. We design, engineer and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients’ medical devices, hand tools, along with both indoor and outdoor sporting goods.

Job Characteristics
- Focused on efficient, accurate, quality work output in molding process area
- Must be a driven individual with leadership skills
- Job requires close control of process, tasks, and results
- Must provide clear instructions and guidance in the coordination of multi-disciplinary activities
- Must delegate tasks and closely measure and monitor results while retaining accountability
- Must be able to do multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks
- Continual problem/solution identification required
- Fast-paced environment; decisions must be made quickly and firmly, within the defined scope of job authority and based on job expertise
- Must work within established systems, standards, and procedures
- Responsible for oversite of molding area in conjunction with supervisor
- Organize, maintain cleanliness, and oversee process flow within area
- Foster teamwork and assign tasks to complete area requirements
- Estimate or predict output required to meet the production plan
- Train new employees in specific process area
- Assist in creation and updating of new and current work instructions
- Measure products using calipers, microscopes, etc. to ensure quality production
- Inform managers of quality issues that arise
- Foster shift-to-shift communication within department
- Support engineering and special manufacturing activities
- Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
- Other related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 2 years manufacturing experience
- Associate Degree a plus
- General mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of electricity is a plus
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to work at different workstations when production bottleneck occurs
- Orderly and responsible with tools and work area
- Must be safety conscious—wear safety glasses, etc.
- Above average communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
