Part-time Receiving and Inventory Specialist

Job description:

Advanced Solutions & Controls LLC is a UL listed and leading design and consulting firm specializing the Automation & Control Systems. We are looking for a part-time Receiving and Inventory Specialist to support our manufacturing and production for industrial control panels.

Principal Responsibilities:

Receiving:

Review of items received to pack slip

Receiving parts into Inventory System and allocating them to project locations.

Comparing packing slips to BOMS and report of project Bill of Material complete received.

Resolving discrepancies

Inventory:

Distributing parts for project cart as manufacturing requires them on job carts.

Keep inventory organized, complete cycle counts and year end inventory

Shipping:

Assist in preparation of finished goods for shipment.

Coordinate proper documentation required and hand off to external shipping Company

Other tasks as assigned

Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

Industrial Electrical knowledge and Experience is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Excel

Experience with QuickBooks (PLUS NOT REQUIRED)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented with superior multi-tasking and organizational skills

Good problem solver and critical thinker

Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Experience in an engineering or construction environment, while possibly helpful, is not required.

Physical Requirements:

Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending

High mental and visual effort required

Work involves considerable bending and twisting

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Types: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Determined upon hire. Max of 32 hours per week with typical days being Monday-Friday

Location: Miamisburg, OH 45342: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)

Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)

Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)
