Essential Job Functions:
The Joint Airspace Controller Subject Matter Expert / Military Analyst supports the Army Joint Support Team (AJST) by providing subject matter expertise across the program, including training and training support services associated with joint air operations, command and control (C2) training, and throughout exercises/events conducted by the Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), and other individual, staff and collective events as required.
Performance may include, but are not limited to:
- Performs as the subject matter expert (SME) for Joint Airspace operations and training
- Supports all training and training development activities
- Supports all MCTP activities
Required Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree in Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 10 years’ experience in the management of projects or programs of similar size, scope and complexity
- Experience with military training and training support
- Knowledge of Army and Joint air-ground operations education, training and command and control systems integration
- Detailed understanding of the MCTP exercise lifecycle and detailed insights into the Joint Airspace and C2 processes, products, and systems involved in replicating the relationships, information exchanges, and coordination typical between Army corps/division headquarters and a joint force air component headquarters
- Detailed experience with military training and training support products
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Army and Joint air-ground operations education, training and command and control systems integration
- Knowledge of GCCS-A, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, DCGS-A, CPOF, JADOCS, and Tactical Mission Command (suite of products)
Desired Qualifications:
- Former military officer, Military Educational Level, MEL, IV, or Senior NCO with Army Joint Support Team experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Capability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Possess and maintain all required training and certifications.

Work Environment:
Army Joint Support Team facilities at Hurlburt Field, FL. Schedule does include recognized Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Overtime will not be authorized. Remote work not available.

Travel:
Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) to support tasks and requirements may be required.
