What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer position at Advanced Ultrasound Care?
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound using medical
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images.
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Operate and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary structures are captured.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Registered in sonography by either ARDMS, or ARRT
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
