What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Expeditor position at Advanced Urology Institute (AUI)?
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to grow with us in our Tallahassee office.
Supply Chain Expeditor
The Supply Chain Expeditor (SCE) is responsible for supporting the buying and delivery process of goods and the placement and delivery of purchase orders.
Duties:
- Responsible for the purchase order confirmation reconciliation, including buyer communication (will initially exclude pricing exceptions)
- Responsible for item backorder and item substitution resolution, including applicable communication.
- Functions as a liaison between the vendors and offices to ensure that orders are delivered and/or expedited on time as required.
- Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
- Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers.
- Understanding technology and managing IOS item maintenance
- Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g. Administration, Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, etc.
- Recommends improvements purchasing methods and IOS enhancements
- Provide recommendations to the department Director for procedural or policy changes to enhance logistics effectiveness, internal controls or cost efficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent training, considered an asset
- Four (4) years’ experience in Admin/Clerical, preferred two (2) years’ experience to be Supply Chain specific
- Accounting experience helpful but not required
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel and Pivot Tables
