What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at Advanced Work Vans?
Success as a Technician is being able to achieve the following expectations:
- Assemble/Install cargo management material, per the provided instructions
- Organize warehouse and inventory to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensures compliance with Adrian policies and procedures
- Foster and support a team environment with employees, partners & customers
- Ensure best practices are utilized to prevent damage to vehicles
The key behaviors/skills required for this role are:
- Knowledge of commercial product
- Identify and communicate risk immediately
- Ability to work with tools, hand cart and lift up to 50lbs; ability to obtain a fork lift license
- Identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity
- Results oriented; Exceeds goals and pushes self and team
- Ability to perform assembly (level 1)
- Ability to jig assembly and install (level 2)
- Ability to perform Level 2 plus Electrical OR Basic Graphics (level 3)
- Ability to perform Level 2 plus Electrical AND Basic Graphics OR Level 2 AND Graphics level 2 (level 4)
Education/ Experience required for this role:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Warehouse experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
