Job Purpose Summary:
The Regional Director of Clinical Services plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services across multiple locations within the company. As the Regional Director, you will be responsible for strategic planning, leadership, and supervision of clinical staff, as well as overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain regulatory compliance and promote optimal client care. By driving continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and effectively managing resources, you will contribute to the overall success of our company and the well-being of the individuals we serve. Expertise in behavioral health and the ability to lead and inspire clinical teams will be vital in achieving our mission of providing exceptional care and making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve clinical objectives and improve the quality of care across multiple facilities or regions.
- Leadership and Supervision: Providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to clinical staff and managers in various locations within the region. This includes hiring, training, evaluating, and mentoring clinical personnel.
- Performance Management: Monitoring and evaluating the performance of clinical services, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsible and accountable for regions’ success as measured by Key Performance Indicators.
- Policy Development: Collaborating with executive leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols that align with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Overseeing quality assurance programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
- Resource Allocation: Allocating and managing resources effectively, including budgets, staffing, equipment, and supplies, to support the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to foster effective communication and coordination of clinical services across the region.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure patient safety and minimize liability.
- Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring clinical outcomes, analyzing data, and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards within the region.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as community organizations, healthcare partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Training and Education: Facilitating training and educational programs for clinical staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professional development.
Job Type: Full-time; hybrid, with occasional travel
Required education: master's degree and full clinical licensure in each state of practice; supervisor credential at time of hire or within 1 year of offer acceptance, if applicable.
Required experience: 5 years' experience working in a Behavioral Health Facility demonstrating progressive leadership.
