Advantage Healthcare Services is a chain of independent retail pharmacies specializing in various behavioral health medications. We have an opening for a Licensed Vocational Nurse OR Registered Nurse in the Los Angeles area. This position would serve as a 10-99 independently contracted LVN or RN responsible for administering intramuscular long-acting injectables (LAIs) to our patients. You will be required to travel to a predetermined time and location in Los Angeles to meet with patients scheduled for the injection.

Our nurses are compensated at $50 per injection and receive mileage reimbursements at the California mileage rate for any distance traveled after the first 50 miles each day.

Requirements:

  • Be flexible in traveling to meet with patients
  • Must be a registered LVN or RN with a valid California Driver's License
  • Willing to travel and drive for long periods of time
  • Current and updated malpractice insurance at the time of hire
  • Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualities:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Previous experience with LAIs
  • Previous experience as a Mobile Injection Nurse, or similar field
