Description
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing entry level daily warehouse activities such as pick/pack, assembly and shipping in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
DUTIES:
- Reports to the Supervisor/Operations Manager for daily assignments
- Pick and pack of daily orders according to specifications, instructions and safety procedures
- Use of forklift equipment
- Communicate effectively to Operations Manager or person in charge when job is completed
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain working area clean at all times/general housekeeping
- Assure that all orders are done by the end of the day
- Ability to work over time and weekends with short notice
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to become forklift certified
- Basic math skills
- English speaking, bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be safety conscious
