Intake Specialist

Duties:

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and face to face
- Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Process orders accurately and in a timely manner

- Verify health insurance, complete prior authorizations and relay expected cost to patients
- Maintain customer records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding matters
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics for customer service

-Work closely with physician's offices and referral sources

-Pull monthly reports to verify billing accuracy

-Standard clerical work and customer greeting

-Help to maintain office cleanliness and organization

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively

-Ability to work well with others

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
