Advantage Psychiatric Services, LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor to join its team! This is a full-time, non-exempt position, Monday – Friday, 9:30AM – 6:00PM located in Elkton, MD.

PRP - Rehabilitation Counselor is responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. Counselor to meet with Adults and children with chronic mental health issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching living skills, case management, scheduling, care coordination, documentation, and assisting in the development of treatment goals. Implementation is key to success in this position and the rehabilitation of the clients.

Candidates should be proficient in assessment, barrier removal and overall commitment to excellence.

Education & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or human services field of study.
• One (1) year prior experience working within a mental health setting is required.
• Implementation of the rehabilitation activities outlined in the rehabilitation plans.
• A passion for human services.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be fully insured.

Travel Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and drive a 15-passenger van.
