Residential Reentry Center Director

Advantage Reentry Services is seeking a passionate and driven individual to fill the role of Carbondale Residential Reentry Center Director. As the leader of this residential reentry center (RRC), you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our programs and services while fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, including case managers, social services coordinators, employment specialists, and support staff.
• Create and maintain a positive work and living environment within the residential reentry center.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community organizations, including religious organizations, non-profits, and government entities, to support the successful reintegration of residents into society.
• Collaborate with local employers and service groups to facilitate employment opportunities and community engagement for residents.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulations set forth by the United States Government, Department of Justice, and Bureau of Prisons.
• Oversee the development and implementation of program curricula to meet the needs of residents and promote accountability and supervision.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff members.
• Conduct regular quality control reviews to monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between Advantage Reentry Services and the Bureau of Prisons, United States Probation and Pre-Trial Services, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Handle crisis situations and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Adaptable and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining a supportive and ethical environment for staff and residents.
