We have partnered with a local law office and are searching for a Bankruptcy Clerk in Monroe, LA, seeking growing opportunities within a professional environment. Our client works hard by providing legal services to mortgage servicers in foreclosures and bankruptcies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm

Pay: $13 - 16/hr.

As a bankruptcy clerk, you will manage the firm's day-to-day legal casework in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position organizes priorities and structures workflow to maintain minimum cases and client contact without missing important case action timelines.

Qualifications:

• Work in a team environment and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-task to handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all staff levels and the public.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Know processes and procedures relating to the Arkansas Bankruptcy Code.
• 2 years of legal experience.
