Fabrication Line Operator

Advantage Resourcing is seeking new talent in Houston, TX, ready to join forces with our partner client. We are hiring a Fabrication Line Operator who is ready for the next step of their career!

Pay: $19-$21 per hour

Fabrication Line Operator Job Details

• Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations and operate post-tension fabrication equipment safely and efficiently, by established procedures and guidelines.
• Complete fabrication jobs by established deadlines and assist in loading and unloading rebar using an overhead crane or forklift.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and communicate potential on-site hazards to branch management.
• Wear required PPE, work overtime as business requires, and report for scheduled shift on time and fit for duty.
• Stand for extended periods and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post Tension-tying experience is required, and post-tension bucket-tying experience is a plus.
• Wedge anchor experience a plus, forklift operator experience required, and industrial manufacturing experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used in the rebar post-tension fabrication industry is required.
• Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal, are required, bilingual English/ Spanish preferred, and a high School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.
