Senior Director, Analytics Solutions
The Senior Director, Analytics Solutions is responsible for leading and directing the analytics and reporting capabilities that enable the insights delivered across the Advantage Experiential segment . Working as a strategic business partner to the Advantage leaders, client and customer teams who rely upon insights and reporting for decision making, the Sr. Director, Analytics Solutions facilitates usage and compliance to policy, standards, data quality and accuracy through oversight and management of tools, sharing of best-demonstrated practices, training and mentorship programs and by cultivating innovation in research and application of data. This leader facilitates a passion for fact-based decision-making and is a catalyst for enabling improved enterprise reporting and analytics in all his/her endeavors.

Responsibilities:
- Formulates, manages, and enforces policy, procedures, and controls around data and data platforms; Prepares and plans for data and tool expansion.
- Develops customized insights and reporting that provides value to our brands clients and retail customers
- Provides leadership and guidance to associates in the execution of best-demonstrated shopper, customer, and category analytics; Updates skill set by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and developing and maintaining personal networks.
- Continually identify, develop, and present engaging, insight-driven though leadership and analysis to clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Be a Strategic Thought Partner, driving insights into action through the deep analytics of the category, macro-trends, competitive landscape, pricing, promotion, assortment, space management, and shopper trends.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the creation of impactful, insight-driven analytics, thought leadership, and solution-oriented business reviews and recommendations for clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent job-related experience is required
- 8 years of experience in the applicable field (i.e. sales and marketing agency or CPG industry solutions provider, Customer, and/or Client); 5 years of supervisory experience
- Syndicated Data experience; Mastery of IRI, Nielsen and other relevant tools
- Strong knowledge of Category Management and Shopper Insights concepts, processes, and application
- Experience training, delegating, coaching, motivating, and follow-up/follow-through with staff to achieve desired results

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Data Solutions• Formulates, manages, and enforces policy, procedures, and controls around data and data platforms• Develops customized insights and reporting that provides value to our brands clients and retail customers • Creates strong value proposition for our experiential services through analysis and reporting processes • Champions data education and democratization across all business functions to elevate the analytic capabilities across the Experiential division
Associate Development• Provides leadership and guidance to associates in the execution of best demonstrated shopper, customer, and category analytics• Oversees the design and execution of Advantage and partner led training platforms and programs to develop the analytical capabilities of associates• Updates skill set by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and developing and maintaining personal networks• Provides training and support to their team
Thought Leadership• Continually identify, develop, and present engaging, insight-driven thought leadership and analysis to clients, customers, and internal stakeholders. Presentations will demonstrate both data and story-telling mastery and effectively integrate category, consumer, and shopper insights with a quantifiable action plan• Be a Strategic Thought Partner, driving insights to action through deep analytics of the category, macro-trends, competitive landscape, pricing, promotion, assortment, space management, and shopper trends• Lead, mentor, and develop the creation of impactful, insight driven analytics, thought leadership, and solution-oriented business reviews and recommendations for clients, customers, and internal stakeholders
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements - Travel is an essential duty and function of this job. Driving is not an essential duty or function of this job. - Travel up to 35%
Minimum Qualifications:

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66% each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
