Gas Turbine Engineer - Monitoring & Diagnostics

Job Title: Senior Engineer, Monitoring & Diagnostics
Status: Salaried (OT Eligible)

Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer, Monitoring & Diagnostics, will be responsible for analyzing engine supervisory and thermal performance data of F-Class Combined Cycle Gas Turbines to determine root causes and corrective actions for various operational issues. This includes controls, performance, auxiliaries, and Balance of Plant (BOP). The role involves utilizing Process Information (PI) tools for monitoring, analysis, and graphical representation of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and HRSG operations. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with a team of aerothermal and performance engineers to define and develop best approaches and architecture philosophies for GT performance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and health monitoring models.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; experience in Thermal Performance or Gas Turbine commissioning operations/diagnostics may substitute for engineering degree.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in start-up/commissioning engineering for F/G/H/J class combined cycle industrial gas turbines.
• Experience with GT/ST/GEN architecture, design, and support systems.
• Proficiency with GT control systems and OSI PI Soft.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Cross-functional knowledge to coordinate efforts with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Multilingual candidates are a plus.

General Comments:

• Travel, including U.S. and international, may be required, along with working during non-standard hours, overtime, and rotational shifts.
• Rotational shifts with engineers required to work one weekend per month.
• Overtime available after 8 hours, with guaranteed OT.
• Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000.
