Hardware Technician
Job Posting for Hardware Technician at Advantage Technical
Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Friday
Need tech to join the Asset Management Dept. This dept. is responsible for receiving IT equipment and determining if it is salvageable or not.
Responsibilities may include:
- Record Serial #, make and model
- Inspect physical condition
- Test functionality of equipment
- Determine if device can be refurbished or recycled
- Wipe all memory/information on device
- Upload Microsoft OS image (on pc's, laptops, etc)
- Replace monitor screens
- Troubleshoot minor issues
Skill Set:
- 1 years of IT schooling or equivalent experience
Preferred: Mobile Device experience
Must be able to work on their feet for 8 hour shift. Also must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Must wear steel toe shoes to work each day.
Steel Toe Shoes are required to be worn while working onsite.
