Pay Rate : $40-45 / hr

Contract length : through 12 / 24 (possibility of extension)

Hours per week : approximately 10 (could be more or less depending on the week - hours will vary greatly)

Project Description :

There will be a small team of transcribers who will meet weekly to check in on progress, discuss transcription difficulties, and amend guidelines as needed.

Required Qualifications :

• Native Thai speaking and comprehension skills.
• Strong written skills in Thai, including good spelling and fast typing.
• Extreme attention to detail and focus.
• Interest in language and all its nuances.
• Basic computer skills (opening / saving files, navigating software applications).

Desired Qualifications :

• Previous experience with annotation or transcription of speech.
• Experience with audio editing software (Audacity, Praat, GarageBand, Reaper, etc.).
• Experience with speech waveforms and spectrograms.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.

Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
