Hourly Rate: Up to $58hr depending on experience.

Work Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule - Off every other Friday!

Job Summary:

• Come join our team! We currently have an exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Sterling Heights, MI for a Manufacturing IT Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations.
  
  
  

Job Description:

• Thrive in a flexible and ever-changing manufacturing environment supporting a variety of products and processes.
• Maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations.
• Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions.
• Support manufacturing and divisional process improvement initiatives.
  
  
  

Required:

• Candidate should possess a hands-on IT technical background as well as an understanding of manufacturing execution and related business processes.
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) especially iBaseT Solumina.
• General knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems.
• Ability to analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues within software systems. This goes beyond simply documenting trouble tickets.
• Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS.
• Ability to understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others.
• General Understanding of our plant capabilities.
  
  
  

Education:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering / IT related fields (or equivalent) is required; additional graduate-level degree and relevant work experience a plus.
  
  
  

Note:

• Due to the nature of this position, the majority of the work will be Onsite.
• Must be U.S. Citizen - "Must be able to meet ITAR requirements, including US citizenship to be considered for this role."
