Position: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: Troy, MI.

Responsibilities:

Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including required financial disclosures.
Act as the lead in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, bank statements and Executive leadership presentations.
Primary Corporate finance liaison with business controllers to continuously improve the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.
Monitor and assess the impact of accounting pronouncements (U.S. GAAP) on significant transactions across the global business.
Technical accounting research, documentation & implementation.
Develop corporate accounting policies and procedures. Train colleagues in plant locations on new and updated policies.
Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) for monthly financial closing processes; monitor and report performance against established KPI's.
Create tools to facilitate monthly financial statement analytical review procedures.
Provide support and assistance to the external auditors in connection with the annual audit of the Company.
Identify opportunities to further leverage financial systems, drive efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting required.
3 years finance or accounting experience required.
CPA with minimum 3 years public accounting experience preferred.
Self-motivated. Initiates activities with high degree of drive, passion, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Advanced analytical and technical accounting skills.
Experience with Plex, OneStream, Wdesk and LeaseQuery systems a plus
