Advantage Engineers (AE) is a rapidly expanding and dynamic professional engineering consulting firm within the fields of telecommunications, environmental, geotechnical, construction observation and materials testing. Advantage Engineers designs, develops, and implements a wide-array of innovative, high-quality and effective specialty solutions that deliver turn-key results with full-scope consultation services. Our firm consists of 17 offices from New York to California.


The focus of the Project Manager should be providing the utmost satisfaction to the client via project completion within the allocated schedule and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also oversee and be responsible for quality control and safety throughout the project life cycle. The Project Manager is responsible to develop proposals, negotiate pricing, execute projects, approve vendor invoices, submit client invoices, and effectively manage accounts receivable within established Company guidelines while maintaining and improving Client relationships. 


  • Responsible for all aspects of the site development process including leasing, zoning, A&E drawings permitting, material orders, construction management, and site closeout.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Serve as the primary client contact on assigned projects to keep them informed and to respond to their needs. 
  • Provide project management assistance in the assignment, oversight, and control of staff including sub-consultant and/or contractors to complete project assignments in accordance with project work plans.
  • Review and approve reports/findings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, permits, and other contract documents. 
  • Supervise preparation of all reports/findings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents.
  • Communicate project requirements and status to team members including clients, subcontractors, and others.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project tracking report and submit weekly to client and other team members.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a project management role.
  • Telecommunication/Wireless experience would be ideal.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and budgets to plan the course of the work effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience in strategic planning and development.
  • Verifiable skills in leadership, communication, and people management.
  • PMP Certification is preferable.
