We are looking for a Production Supervisor that will lead 5 employees on the 3rd shift production team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and direct the employees to utilize proper work instructions, procedures, and standards.
• Support the production team by printing labels, moving product within the ERP system, creating and closing work tickets and other computer based work as needed.
• Know how to use the samples and run the process instruments (i.e. Mitoya, Micrometer, Caliper) to gauge whether a product is acceptable or not.
• Review the shift cross-over reports, production and yield charts, delivery, on-time, and machine logs to effectively keep the production running at an optimum level.
• Whiteboard/Supervisor cross-over: Establish priorities and direct activities to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Use available data and technical judgment to understand, resolve and prevent problems and operational delays.
• Maintain a stable environment that encourages all employees to be active Advantek team members and process owners. Internalize the Core Values and Advantek Vision.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of production personnel performance in performance system.
• Understand and monitor production scheduling to ensure on-time delivery is met for internal and external customers.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Quality first mindset
• Basic knowledge of quality control
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze and solve a variety of problems including interpersonal and operational
• High School Diploma or equivalent
