What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector position at Advantest?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Inspector with GD&T experience
- Inspect precision-made plastic and metal parts to mechanical drawings
- Be able to use or be trained on metrology equipment such as Smartscope, CMM
- Collect data/assist QA-QC team in collecting data for experiments
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualification Requirement:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in mechanical inspection of machined parts as required
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. Be able to read and understand GD&T symbols.
- Experience in using QC bench tools is required (Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Blocks, Gage Pins, etc.)
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Quick learner, open and able to adopt and adapt with new tasks and processes.
- Flexible and able to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Provide accurate and on-time results.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must have a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and work environment.
