What are the responsibilities and job description for the FP&A Manager position at Advantive Career Center?
The FP&A Manager reports directly to the VP of Finance and works with the leadership team to drive business analysis and financial metrics that lead to smart and strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for overseeing a financial planning organization that has a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and financial models and designing and building a best-in-class enterprise FP&A and finance function that will enable and support the company's growth and value creation objectives. This position is responsible for all financial planning activities and providing value-added analysis and strategic support to all areas of the company. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations and will work closely with our organizational leaders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of the financial data for all of our internal and external requirements.
Responsibilities:

Manage annual budgeting process and in tracking financial results vs. budget and prior years’ performance; and help prioritize expenditure / investment initiatives

Deliver meaningful financial and operating metrics, analytics and reports with which to manage the business, drive insight into the key value levers of the business, and enable revenue and profit growth

Generate analyses to support and test key business decisions (return on investment, buy / build alternatives, add-on opportunities, etc.)

Prepare all necessary financial reports internally and externally (profitability by product, retention rates, etc.); present findings and make recommendations to management

Establish and drive discipline into the finance organization and providing proactive visibility to the business. This includes leading an outcome-oriented annual budget process and partnering with the business leaders to create visibility into the business on a weekly cadence

Enable the processes that translate finance and accounting into business performance and impact through improving the quality of data, business insight, and decision making
